Aaron Riffa is a clinical research nurse at the University of Miami’s Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center and a Doctor of Nursing Practice student at the University of Florida. His work supports survivorship and supportive-care research focused on wellness, health-related quality of life, and the experiences of diverse cancer populations.

His research interests include cancer survivorship, cancer prevention, health disparities, health equity, health decision-making, health outcomes, sexual and gender minority health, and Hispanic/Latine communities. He helps implement electronic health record–embedded patient-reported outcome measures, coordinates clinical and observational studies, and contributes to multidisciplinary research on the biopsychosocial factors that shape treatment and survivorship.
